What's the difference between mediocre praise and effective praise?
It's the ability to not only focus on the team's output, but also their input.
We place so much emphasis on that end result that we often forget about those smaller tasks that the team completed in order to get that end result.
Late nights in the office, clear and consistent communication between team members, holding each other accountable. All of these smaller things that contributed to achieving that final goal should be recognized, acknowledged, and given praise.
